Victoria

Victoria is the capital city of Seychelles, located on Mahe Island. It is also known as the smallest African capital. The city is the perfect place to get a glimpse of the daily life of Seychellois, and the Creole culture.

Victoria has two main town centres - one around-the-clock tower and one at the Sir Selwyn Clarke Market.

Being the capital city, Victoria is the cultural and business hub of the nation. The main airport of Seychelles, Seychelles International Airport, is also located in Victoria. The city is small enough to be explored on foot. Buses, metered taxis and bicycles on rent are also available.
