Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

  • Arrive in Istanbul.
  • Upon arrival at Istanbul, you will be greeted by a local representative and transferred to your hotel and check-in.
  • The rest of the day is free at leisure
  • Overnight stay in Istanbul

  • After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour which includes Cable car to Pierre Loti viewpoint, Topkapi Palace and Night transfer to Taksim
  • See the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent (the largest in Istanbul), the walls, the Golden Horn, the fishing district, and admire the exterior of Hagia Sofia.
  • Afterwards, visit to the Top Kapi Palace, which was the administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire, with its magnificent courtyards and its pavilions.
  • At the end of the afternoon, transfer to the Taksim neighborhood, the most commercialized and lively area of the city.
  • Dine in one of its many restaurants, and you can also take the old tram that crosses the area or go to see the nearby Galata Tower.

  • Arrival in Ankara.

  • After that, continue en route to Cappadocia while passing through the Salt Lake, with its incredible landscapes.
  • Arrival in Avanos (Cappadocia) and transfer to the hotel

  • Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymaklı & Citadel of Uçhisar.
  • After lunch, continue with the valley of "Goreme" & Open Air Museum.
  • The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos.
  • Return to hotel & overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, proceed for the tour of the Ilhara Valley. It is located at the far end of Cappadocia, and is known for the freshness of its waters, churches and villages excavated in the rock.
  • Then, continue to Konya with a stop in an old Caravanserai from the 13th Century and see the Mausoleum of Mevlana.
  • Here, learn about the sect of the Dervishes (entrance included).
  • At night, attend the dance performance of the whirling dervishes in the cultural centre.
  • Overnight stay

  • After breakfast, proceed for Pamukkale
  • Take the scenic road between the lakes, and visit Egridir, a beautiful town next to a large lake, with its walls and mosques.
  • Stop for lunch and continue to Pamukkale - Hierapolis
  • Visit the ancient city of Hierapolis along with Cotton Castles and Mud Pool
  • Overnight stay in Pamukkale

  • After breakfast, Depart for Izmir.
  • Arrive at Izmir airport and proceed towards Kusadasi
  • Have a panoramic city tour of Kusadasi.
  • Later, check-in to hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Kusadasi

  • After breakfast, depart for the tour of House of Virgin Mary and Ruins of Ephesus
  • The Ephesus Amphitheater is the largest in the ancient world.
  • Also visit, the Odeon theater and Bath complexes built under Roman rule, The Temples of Hadrian and Sebastian
  • If time permits, visit the Terrace Houses, with mosaic floors and frescoed walls.
  • Transfer to the hotel once the tour ends.

  • After breakfast, proceed for the tour of Izmir.
  • See the church of Saint Polycarp, the oldest in the city, which reminds us of the importance of this area in early Christianity (entrance included).
  • Then, return to inland Turkey.
  • Stop en route for lunch before reaching Bursa, the fourth largest city in Turkey, whose historic centre has been declared UNESCO World Heritage.
  • Arrival in Istanbul at the end of the day
